Trapped Within My Own Walls: A Home Confinement Tale
The walls of my home were always like a refuge. Now they smother, a constant reminder of my confined existence. Days run into each other, marked only by the click of the watch and the dull ache in my chest. Every noise from outside is a cruel reminder of what I miss.
I wander through these confined rooms, searching for some hint of light. The sunlight that once streamed across my floor now seem distant, and the stillness is deafening.

- Other times, I'm lost in memories
Living on Lockdown
Life as we understand it has drastically changed. The world past our doors is a blur of its former glory. We are now confined within the limits of our homes, forced to conform to a new lifestyle. The days blend, marked by the pattern of online meetings, binging media, and cooking. We crave for the simple pleasures that were once granted for granted: a stroll in the park, a coffee with friends, or even just a chat without a screen between us.
This new existence has created challenges, but it has also exposed unexpected qualities within ourselves and our communities. We have learned to be more patient, more resourceful, and more grateful for the mundane things in life. As we navigate this uncharted territory, we must keep hopeful that brighter days are near.
Six Feet From Freedom
Life behind bars is a harsh reality. Every day, you face restrictions that feel like an unbreakable barrier. The world outside seems so near, yet it's separated by just six feet.
Sometimes, the pressure of those bars feels overwhelming. You desire freedom with every fiber of your being. Each new day serves as a constant echo that you're imprisoned.
But even in the darkest moments, there's a spark of hope. A hope that one day, you'll step over those bars and finally be liberated. That day might seem impossible, but it's a dream worth holding onto.
Confined Liberation
The allure for freedom can be a powerful force. Yet, paradoxically, it can too lead to imprisonment. This manifests when the very notion for freedom becomes perverted, transforming into a tool for control and oppression.
Genuine freedom entails not only the absence with external constraints but also the cultivation of internal strength. When this inner foundation is lacking, even amidst a society that values freedom, individuals can find themselves ensnared within the boundaries of their own beliefs.
Consequently, the true measure for freedom lies in our ability to break free the constraints that limit our potential, both externally and internally.
